I just noticed that the acronym תרי"ג, generally pronounced taryag can be pronounced differently. It can be pronounced treig, like a וואסער תרייגער, a vasser treiger, a water carrier. I think the teaching may be that in order to be מקיים תרי"ג מצוות התורה you may have to be a simple yid, a simple Jew.
(It is worthy of noting that when I found this picture of the levite shlepper on google images, it took my to a place בין צורעה ובין אשתאול.)
(Also, if anyone is wondering why I have been using much Hebrew font recently, it is because I just figured out how.)
